The new import mode shows your clips as large thumbnails that can be strung together without then annoyance of having to adjust technical settings. This essentially flips the script on building a “selects” or “rough cut” sequence inside of Premiere. In addition to the major Frame.io integration update, Premiere Pro has been updated with a new Import Mode.

So with this update you can now start editing within Premiere almost immediately after recording has started, thanks to Camera-to-Cloud access. And if you’ve ever used Avid’s Interplay system, you will be familiar with being able to edit clips that are still loading. It’s really a thing you need to see to understand. Frame.io integrates right into your Premiere Pro and After Effects projects and will playback live. No more sending low-resolution cuts through a free, slow online-hosted link and waiting for someone to send notes back to you. But all will work within the respective apps.įor anyone who sends edits, cuts, versions or whatever you call your approval edits (maybe Latched Cut? The cut after the Fine Cut that should have been a Locked Cut but was unlocked?), Frame.io will be a great, free addition to your toolbox. Or if you want to upgrade the included Frame.io access to a Pro, Team or Enterprise level, you can do that as well.
If you already have a Pro, Team or Enterprise account, those will work as well. Creative Cloud users will now have up to 100GB of storage, two users, five concurrent projects, unlimited reviewers, review and approval, and accelerated file transfers included for zero additional cost.
That’s right, a new Frame.io panel will be natively included inside both After Effects and Premiere Pro. Adobe is constantly updating its Creative Cloud apps, and with the annual NAB Show weeks away, they have released a few updates to Premiere Pro and After Effects that will get a lot of users excited.īoth apps are getting Frame.io built-in.
